About the studio

Forged on Carlaw — an AI image studio built for production

ImageForge AI is a creative studio in Leslieville, Toronto, that produces art-directed, AI-generated imagery for client brands. The name reflects what we do: forge frames — not metal, not crypto, not a game crafting mechanic. We combine generative AI, diffusion models, and reference-driven workflows with senior artists who retouch, colour-grade, and review every deliverable.

Leslieville / Carlaw — our home base

Suite 104 at 245 Carlaw Avenue sits in a former warehouse block now filled with independent creative firms — photographers, editors, design shops, and small production teams. The neighbourhood reads like the work we do: practical, craft-focused, close to the lake and a short streetcar ride from downtown Toronto clients.

Our studio floor holds calibrated monitors, reference print proofs, and the quiet concentration a retouch pass demands. Clients visit for brief sessions; most delivery happens over secure channels with clear project scope documentation. We serve Canadian and North American brands that need campaign imagery, product visuals, and concept art on timelines traditional photography struggles to meet — without sacrificing art direction or licensing clarity.

What ImageForge AI is — and is not

The .pro domain is branding only. "Image" means commercial and creative visual imagery for brands — not medical imaging, satellite data, surveillance systems, or deepfakes. "Forge" means we craft images with AI assistance and human finishing — not cryptocurrency mining, blacksmithing, or video-game item crafting.

We are an AI image-generation studio delivering creative services for clients. We are not a self-serve text-to-image app you subscribe to, not an AI-art course or bootcamp, not a stock-image marketplace, and not a get-rich-with-AI scheme. You hire us for a client brief; we return cleared-for-use imagery and documented workflows.

Team approach

Projects are led by art directors and senior retouchers with backgrounds in commercial photography, e-commerce production, and brand design. We do not invent named experts with fabricated credentials. The team structure scales with scope: a concept sprint may be two people for three days; a product line build adds batch generation operators and dedicated quality review.

Generative imaging accelerates exploration, but humans decide what ships. That is the responsible AI stance we bring to every engagement: consent where likeness appears, licensing and usage rights documented, AI disclosure when your policy or platform requires it, and zero tolerance for deceptive deepfakes or non-consensual likeness generation.

How we work with clients

Engagements begin with a written brief: deliverable types, ratios, reference material, licensing constraints, CAD budget range, and timeline. We respond with project scope, indicative pricing, and what we need cleared before generation starts — trademark references, talent likeness releases, training data ownership.

Retainer clients receive priority scheduling and a dedicated art director contact. Project clients receive milestone deliveries with defined revision rounds. In both models, IP ownership and trained style model terms are spelled out in contract — typically clients own deliverables upon payment while we retain internal prompt libraries unless otherwise agreed.

We operate Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 Eastern Time from our Toronto studio. Emergency turnaround is sometimes available; it is never guaranteed and depends on team capacity and brief complexity.
